Jessica’s path to bookkeeping wasn’t traditional—but that’s exactly what makes her so effective. With experience spanning warehouse logistics, accounts payable management, customer service, and operations coordination as a junior manager for a plumbing company, she’s learned firsthand what it takes to run a business from the ground up.
A tech-savvy ’90s baby, Jessica has been geeking out over systems since the days of Game Boys and AOL. Her homeschooled, self-taught background sharpened her ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and adapt quickly—skills that now serve her clients when tackling messy books and financial roadblocks.
She founded Off the Grid Bookkeeping to give small business owners the clarity, systems, and support they need to grow—with financials they can trust and a team that truly cares. As a certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor, she uses tools like QuickBooks, Dext, Loom, and Financial Cents to keep her clients efficient, compliant, and confidently in control.
Outside of work, Jessica lives life off the grid—fishing, biking, gardening, and traveling with her husband and fur babies. She also studies plant medicine and tackles DIY projects at home, reflecting the same holistic, hands-on mindset that shapes her business.

With a background in global hospitality, Sarah brings a rare blend of precision, professionalism, and white-glove service to Off the Grid Bookkeeping. Originally from Tokyo and educated in Canada, she spent years working in five-star hotels across the U.S. and London—experiences that sharpened her attention to detail and deepened her client-first mindset.
She transitioned into bookkeeping after becoming a mother and found a field that didn’t just accommodate her perfectionism—it required it. Whether reconciling accounts, building SOPs, or training team members, Sarah thrives in roles where quality, accuracy, and consistency matter.
